We always catch some of the Sunday morning program and most Sundays a hymn recorded by Bayou is played.  Who is Bayou, what is the title of CD?  Have Googled for Bayou, checked Amazon, etc. and can not come up with what we're looking for.  Can you provide information, please?

I like Cajun music -- I would probably like the Cajun hymns, but I am not usually at home Sunday mornings. KWMT does not always respond to listeners' questions, so I sometimes attempt to be helpful. I did say, "perhaps..." ; sorry I did not have useful information. In retrospect, I realize that my explanation of bayou was, most likely, unnecessary and may have seemed condescending; I am sorry -- that was far from my intention. I, too, searched extensively online for the band "Bayou" -- no luck!  The closest I came was a group called "Bayou Boys". All  the best....

Well, then maybe listen to Sunday morning hymns one time .. every Sunday KWMT plays one or maybe two selections by a group they ID as "Bayou".  Is Cajun instrumental band/group and I can not locate on Google/Youtube and would like to buy their CD.  And thanks, know what a 'bayou' is, but looking for music, not swamp land.

I have not heard the hymns played by KWMT on Sunday mornings, but perhaps the answer to your question lies in a collection of hymns by various artists entitled "Hymns From the Bayou" --  bayou, of course, referring, most commonly, to the low-lying streams and marshy wetlands along the Mississippi River  in the South, particularly Louisiana.  Hope this helps.
